Canon Pixma Pro 9000 mark 11

Have just purchased one of these printers,I am a bit confused as to the brand of photographic paper to use.Do I have to stick to Canon products or will I be able to use any other brand if I so wish? Thank you in anticipation.

absolutely any .The printer will be calibrated for canon papers .however other paper types will have settings too either within Windows ,Canon software or by visiting the manufacturer and getting the required profile .Printing papers all have a specific profile that will effect results.

Here's a decent directory for paper profiles from lots of paper makers. Some of the links will give good ICC profile installation instructions (e.g. Hahnemuehle)
