Smile Photography Projects in 2011

If anyone is still looking for a photography project to start in 2011, here's 32 ideas to get you started. There's nothing outrageously difficult (I've found I've been put off by some of the more challenging project ideas I've seen rather than inspired!), although some will require more courage than others.

32 photo projects for 2011

Some of the ideas are illustrated by the fantastic work of some of our PhotoRadar members.

If you've started any projects this year, please keep us updated with how you're getting on - we always love to hear about them!

Amy

Some great projects there Amy. Thank you for that.

Love the pic of the flowers in Cathays Park.

Thanks Steve,

I like that photo too - when I was at Uni I had to walk through Cathays Park every day and I always look forward to May as they also have great pink blossom trees - now I have to remember to go or kick myself if I miss it

Right, May is in the diary. I have only ventured there once as I tend to go down the Bay more often so some nice pink blossoms sounds just the ticket.

It's absolutely fantastic there around that time - I'll keep an eye out for it and keep you updated - that picture was taken in early May 2010 though so April/May would be the best times.

Thank you Amy. Hopefully I will be able to fit it in between my visits to the caravan in Tenby.

Great projects! :-) I like your house hold objects photograph, Amy. I hope I can carry on with the demolition project because I have had no replies to my emails where I asked for access. I might just use a huge step ladder if not and photograph over the barriers or sneak in ;-)

So... how is everyone getting on with their projects now we're a few weeks into the year?

Just in case you missed it - here's 10 Photography Projects to try at home to add to the original 32 projects listed above.

I am still following the demolition of the flats and doing other projects. I've had no reply to my email about photographing on site though so it looks like I will have to continue to photograph over walls or through gaps. I never have problems sticking to projects and much prefer long-term projects to one day shoots anyway. How are yours coming along, Amy?

Hangs his head in shame.

The weather has been so poor that I haven't even started any of mine.
