Hey guys and gals,

In the same boat trying to find a course, The OU one comes with a PC version of Elements only. No substitutes either so seems to be geared toward PC users but I cant imagine a Mac user would have problems (apart from supplying your own copy of elements or equivilant).
NB the course is shutting down in October (2 more starts - May and October) Dont know if this is to open a way for a new Photography course?

Jon

great post, i was going to do the PI course when i had the money, but i ploughed the car into a tree so that came first, i hvae seen good reivew about it, and thyere always offerieng discoounds, might be worth a try, as jinky what you said was good, i had a freind who did the open uni, and sad it wasnt all that good, and apparently there cutting it next year to fit in with new uni cuts and what not, i think there cutting it end of, not for nythign new, as the new tutiotn fees have gone up, its hard for them to keep the online courses going, as they cannot charge as much.

i think once i get the money again i might rethink the PI, good luck to anyopne trying it now and let us now how it goes, be nice to hear it, not from thier website,

dan,

if anyones wondering i have emailed them, asking what qualiification you get, they took 2hrs to reply, ncie and quick,
they are part of the UKRLP whick is uk learning providers, so they are recognised in the learning qualifications, and the qualification you get is a Diploma of professional photography, and a diploma stands as a diploma wherever you go, so it is recognised, equlievent to a level education, and higher,
just to put it out there if your interested, cus i now am,

dan
