Question DVD show- how to produce corrct colours!

I have been the "Chief unofficial photographer" at friends weddings. They look to me for candid, humourous, slightly embarassing and off the cuff and non official photo's of their great day so they can have a laugh (& cry). I like to give them a DVD production of my shots with transitional effects and music etc. However, I am very disappointed when the DVD is produced and viewed on a TV. The colours or too rich, too saturated and not so real compared to when I view them on my computer screen. Can anyone suggest some decent software I can try?

Cheers

I've used proshow producer & am quite happy with it.

http://www.photodex.com/products/proshow/producer

There is a cut-down version of it ProShow Gold which is cheaper & has a free trial download.

(Have you got a your screen calibrated in case it's related to that? i.e the DVD software is producing correct colours it's your screen that isn't?)

Many thanks for your suggestions. I have had a look at Proshow, looks ideal, even found a site I can get it for $40. I'll look into it. Re your comment on screen calibration. I had thought about that, but admit I'm out of my depth. I Do not know what to do or how to do it. Any suggestions where to go for help are welcome. I assume I'll need some kit to calibrate?
