Yup, think you went a bit far if I'm honest.

Was there not a cleaner backdrop you could have found? And if you're planning this type of work invest in a circular polariser as this will help remove reflections - probably better to park the van away from trees to avoid reflections in the first place though.

Hope that doesn't sound harsh

Been away for a little while. Thats my chances of getting out aking photos gone.

Snapped my patella tendon off the bone on sunday so i am out of action for months :-(

Ouch, that sounds painful.

Hope that your recovery goes well. You may have time to read the amanuals, mags and participate more in the forum for a while and come back as expert before you know it.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. But this shouldn't stop you from setting up still lives at home (flowers in vases, fruit bowls, your daughter, etc) and getting to grips with photography - trying different angles, different lighting, plain backgrounds, close-ups and different settings on your camera too.

Quite pleased with this picture. It isnt cropped so i didnt have much choice with the end product.

The other one is from a match i went to watch this morning
