Took the plunge!

I've 3 daughters, a female dog & a female rabbit. I bet the goldfish are girls too.

Unfortunately, our club is dominated by folk who retired years ago, I think one celebrates his 90th this week. We stopped slide competition a few months ago, if anyone wants to submit a slide they need to digitise it first.

I preferred to work with men, but 'in the old days' (before PC), the atmospere was natural and relaxed. I suppose now everyone has to keep a constant eye/ear on everything for fear of being sued for insulting/harassing/discriminating etc.

Have you found out yet whether you'll be up against slide shows?

Anyway, men and slideshows should not stop you joining; once you're in, you can work towards improving things.
