Brazillian Dancer

I've been adding sets of photos to my blog, catching up an all the shoots since last summer that I've been too busy to put on there.

This is from a music festival in July, shot on stage from the crowd area.

Fantastic timing again Cathus, love the colours and you've nailed the exposure too.

Well done on getting such a sharp shot from the crowd too, must have been more than your fair share of shoulder to shoulder movement going on so I'm guessing a decent shutter speed was used to freeze the subject as she danced. Did you have good light??

Regards,

Anthony

Thanks folks, thought this one had passed under the radar as it lay there for 2 days.

It was the Rhythms of the World Festival in Hitchin, 1D MkIV, I thought it was on the 70-200 but the exif says it was at 270mm, which would make it the 100-400, but then it says F4 so maybe it was the 70-200 with a 1.4 converter on, I really can't remember. (it also says 1/664sec which seems a little odd , no EV compensation)

It was so busy that after the Samba Band of which the girl was a performer, I had enough & went home early, no room to move & getting jostled all the time, it's beginning to suffer from its own success, I think.

Oh and, uncropped, ISO 1000, boost in levels & vignette added. It won one of our camera club competitions last year
