Updating ACR

I use one computer just for photoshop and all my photography stuff and a second one for the internet and general use.
Using CS5 I Have ACR 6.1 installed and am 100% happy with it. I Have a phobia about updating things that work fine but I see ACR is up to 6.3 and no doubt further versions will become available.
The question is should I leave well alone and stick to ACR 6.1 or update to ACR 6.3 ?
The other point is updating CS5.... yes this will no doubt sort out a few bugs others have found in the program and reported to Adobe but I have had no problems and am reluctant to update unless you can recommend some strong reason for doing so.

Take a look at what is fixed, Adobe has those listed with the updates. If any of it affects you, then update. ACR is most often updated to support new cameras, but occasionally there are bug fixes as well. If you have CS5 and have not updated it, there are probably some important fixes, most "release" versions are sent out with known bugs.

These are the updates and fixes in ACR6.3

Frankly, it's probably easier just to update than to read through the list and work out whether it affects you or not.

I have found that most ACR updates are just to include new cameras coming on to the market. It's hardly necessary to update it everytime unless you have a new camera that isn't listed on the older version. But obviously there are some fixes that you might need.

Thanks for that link & the other replies.

Tempted to hang on and keep an eye on whats provided in the updates and wait until something major appears that I need and then update rather than do it on a regular basis.
