Cornish Sea

This is currently hanging on my living room wall :-). This shot was taken in the summer in Padstow, Cornwall (Some post-processing in CS5 to tidy up)..I'm not too sure about the crop....

I prefer the bottom half, where the busier water is

Personally I would crop the right set of stumps out and bring the left set more from the bottom left corner.

Hi ashypants. Nice photo. This is my neck of the woods so, speaking with some experience my two comments are:

Better light would have helped. A common difficulty faced by those making a trip down here is that their photography has to fit around what the family or friends want to do so it is not always possible to be in the right place at the right time of day.

Secondly, it helps the shot if the row of posts direct the eye to something other than an expanse of sea. That's often a matter of luck unless you know the area intimately.

Certainly it deserves its place on your wall. Hopefully you'll come down this way more, as Cornwall is hard to beat for coastal photography and the light can be incredible.
