Yep, saw that. It seemed that Rankin was initially very enthusiastic, encouraged by Michael Sheen's attention to detail, but after struggling to recreate the Jane Russell image he seemed to lose interest in the project and approached the rest somewhat half-heartedly.
In the iconic original Wild One image Brando leans on a Triumph motorbike, as ridden in the film, but actor Matthew Rhys was given a Harley Davidson for the shoot - similar vintage, wrong make. Yet when the final images flashed up at the end of the programme Rhys had mysteriously acquired a Triumph/Harley hybrid - the Harley with Triumph's well-known tank badge superimposed. Artistic licence or simple Photoshop fakery? Hmmm

The highlights for me were Terry O'Neill's characteristically down-to-earth contribution and the lesser-known gallery images of Marylin Monroe.
