HI all. Managed to pop in and vote in what looked a tricky weekend comp this week. Well done all that had a go at a hard subject.
After some complications set in I am on the mend now and can even sit at the computer for longer than allowed by my private nurse - or wife as she was known previously
Won`t be going out or picking up a camera anytime soon but maybe get my website up to date.

If I am not on too much have a great christmas everyone and don`t eat too much. Following a few days nil by mouth and a very resticted diet now until my gut starts workign effectively I have lost 11lbs - extreme way of doing it but aiming to carry through the sesnible eating into the new year if I can - so every cloud....

Good to see you are up and about Paul. Happy Christmas to you and all.

Yes it is good to see so many good entries and very interesting watching the poll. Capturing sound, the unseen aspects, and or a real sense in atmosphere is always difficult and hopefully the exercise will assist me in spotting those fleeting 'exciting' moments in opportunity. All the shots have provided food for thought, so thank you to all who entered.

Perhaps we should have a picture of the year competition for all the shots that have been entered in the W/E comp over the last 50 odd weeks. An annual final - Any thoughts on how it could be done?

Sounds like a job for Forseti

Unfortunately there is a limit of 30 choices on a poll, so you'd have to do a winner for each half year and then a grand final. If you are minded to do that.

Please to see you back at the keyboard Paul.

Glad to hear you're on the mend Paul and look forward to seeing you back in action in the comps soon!

I'll have sympathy pains for ya too..I went sledging with the partners Neice and Nephew on Sunday...and lets just say I was showing off and it went wrong.

Just found out today that I have broken my ribs!! And there's me thinking it was a broken Ego that was giving me jip!

Hope youre back to full strength soon....and look after yourself.

Have a great Christmas and fantastic New Year

Ouch Matthew, that sounds painful. Take care and I hope that your recovery does not take too long. Andy will also have sympathy with you too no doubt. Who's going to be next?

Absolutely, having slipped a second time and bruised my right hand side of the ribcage two days ago, I know what a pain it can be. Thankfully my cracked floating rib was not given a second whack!! Must be down to getting older and I guess more physically fragile, although I am keeping as active as I can with building my studio area. Main staircase and gallery floor area up.
