A Christmas Tale

Some christmas characters, Scrooge, Oliver Twist and Fagan ( I think) . I came across them in Chester during its winter watch parade tonight. I played with the processing to make the shot look looked aged and worn and vintage.

I think you've been quite successful with the processing

Nice processing. Certainly looks like an old photo.

Thanks everyone :-) I used silver efex pro to create the effect.

Nice effect - I got that Nik Silver Efex recently but haven't tried this kind of thing with it yet.

Isn't there an 'odd man out' there? I'd say, from left to right, that's Fagin, Scrooge, the Artful Dodger and Bill Sykes.

Thanks Old boy, Geoff :-) I was wondering if it was Bill Sykes but wasn't too sure. The silver efex setting was antique so have a dabble with it, you can also download other presets off their site.

Thanks Karen, I've already grabbed all the freebies from the Nik site.... best plug-in I've got, and that includes Topaz Adjust. Now I've learned how to make a new style and save/export it, I'm surprised I haven't seen a few more 'ready made' ones around the web.
