Well it was a rare treat to find myself with some free time this weekend. Snow is good!

So worked on a few images this week and typical I like them all. But then I would. Lol So I have uploaded them all and I will take the evening to choose.

Great fun this week nice topic, just what I needed.

Can you control the size of the stars by adjusting aperture
I didn't set out to buy a star filter. It came in a bundle of stuff I bought off of eBay. I have no idea how to control it but as you can see from the image it does soften the whole thing a bit so there are pro's and con's! Sorry I can't be more help!!

Some nice shots already. More snow on the way! We had a day of thawing on Saturday which reduced depth in our garden from 14 inches to 8!Yesterday it all froze. A walk in the park found more people sledging but also more paramedics - 2 out to deal with broken bones. That`s what comes of sledging on ice like concrete I guess. Outdoiors I`d be challenged to get a shot without snow at the moment.

I have to admit even for me the snow magic is working off - you can only do so many snow scenes!

Ok Just managed to get one in, had no ideas until I went in my garden after an overnight freezing and saw this web. No conversion needed just black and white.

Mark, that is such a shame. As Michael said it is stunning and would have been a sure fire winner.
