Subscription Problems continue...

I wrote a thread earlier about not receiving my copies of DC in a timely manner...well here we go again. Issue 106 is in the shops, yet I still have yet to receive my subscription copy...what goes??

I'll double check with the subscriptions department for you, but I know there have been delays this month due to increased airline security checks over the recent weeks.

Hi Roger,

I can only apologise for the delay in receiving your copies. We have been experiencing distribution difficulties for the past couple of months. Due to heightened security the US, the authorities impounded incoming mail for a number of weeks, this was done without the postal services being aware and held up mail being despatched into the USPS for onward delivery, resulting in delays. In some cases this led to newsstand copies being on sale in advance of subscriber copies arriving.

We have been assured that impounded items have now been distributed and that future despatches will be processed without further delay, and that steps have been taken to ensure that DHL are able to provide their usual quality of service in the future.

In normal circumstances, you should expect your copies around 10 days from the UK on sale date.

Apologies again for the disruption and hopefully all is on track now.
