W/E Comp 26/28 Nov - On The Edge- CHAT

OK boys and girls, this weekend's theme is ON THE EDGE.

You can take this literally or figuratively, or any combination of the two. Let your imagination take you to the precipice . . .

See RULES for what you should and should not do.

Don't forget to share you innermost thoughts on the subject here in the chat thread.

What more cutting steel edges H - I see POTD 'at the edge by Irass' adding to the challenge - Crikey thinking hat on.

Andy, I shall be taking great pains to avoid honed blades of any kind this weekend. Haven't got a clue what to make of this theme. I blame ogga . . .

Well I may be exploring movement again, not sure yet. The dog had me up in the small hours so I played awhile in the darkness. Just about to open the box (for want of a better expression) to view a few files

I was looking forward to doing some shots from the edge of th sea / cliffs on the east coast but the 3 wusses I was going with have asked to postpone the weekend because of the snow / weather warnings on North Yorkshire Moors / coast. But that`s why I wanted to go! Bit of snow, cold and sea

Don`t what I`ll do now!

On the Edge - one from the early morning box A moving artists dummie on the edge of the kitchen table - May do something else if I find more time for the subject. A single 4 sec exposure ISO 400 f/7.1 - And don't ask me why his/her left hand looks relatively steady, because I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

Hopefully depicting 'on the edge' literally and figuratively in a single shot.

That's an early entry Andy.

Got one for the UK entrants - sit outside for a few hours and then do a self portrait 'on the edge of hypothermia'

Yup, confounded dog woke the house up at 4 am. and once I'm awake it is pointless trying to get back to sleep. So nothing to do but start the ball rolling. My original idea was to do something else but that can wait for another day perhaps. It freezed up here too last night and the roads were quite glassy and I was on the edge as I drove out in the dark this morning .

Hopefully I will get an extra hour or two kip tonight.
