Christmas fair

Victorian Christmas fair in Chester.
The wheel that was previously at Liverpool is now in Chester for the Christmas festivities. It will stay until January. I was using a wide angle lens but still struggled to get the compositions that I wanted so moved around till I found this. I included a children's ride as I really liked the shapes. I wanted the landscape to be all about shape and light.

Excellent, love it!
Possible only comment is the distortion on the wheel, looks like it is falling backwards slightly. But the balance of light vs. dark is great.

Thanks, Phil. as for the distortion I think it was partly the wheel itself because when I corrected the verticles of the buildings around it the wheel stayed the same. It could be the wide angle lens creating distortion also I think.

I can say what I like about scousers, I am one and proud of it too!

Luckily I don't have the accent though.. moved away a long time ago and lost it somewhere along the way..
