First!

I have defiled the forum

I am a Photo Plus subscriber and really do like the mag. Of course being a Canon user it makes sense. I hope to see the Photo Plus staff in here a lot.

I to am a reader of PhotoPlus and wonder what why and where?. Is it being kept separate? or are they both in the melting pot?.
There seems to be a bit of a shake up in all the mags, bit like musical chairs and full expect to see Will Cheung pop in at some time!

Nice to see the mag has finaly got a webste to go with it :-).
Bought myself a Canon AE-1 35mm SLR back in 1980, used it for many years and it's still going strong. Used a compact digital camera for many years until I upgraded to a Canon 400D Digital SLR just over 2 years ago and if by magic Photo Plus was published 2 months later, good timing!!

Hi PhotoPlus readers!

Don't worry, you'll see plenty of us on the PhotoRadar website. As I'm sure you've already discovered, we've been blogging and posting photos, and once we've all finished the issue we're working on (issue 27 – on sale 23 September), we'll have much more time to chat with you on the forum and join in all the fun on the new site.

In the meantime, share your thoughts on how the site's working for you.

Hope you like it.

Sophie

Hi everyone

Welcome to the PhotoPlus forum on PhotoRadar.

We're just in the process of getting our next issue off to the printers – I've been working on a hands-on preview of the new EOS 7D which was launched on Tuesday.

What do you all think of the PhotoRadar site?

Best wishes

Chris

Hi All,

I'm another PhotoPlus subscriber - been reading for c12 months now - came across PhotoRadar in the mag last week. Looks like this is going to be a very informative, useful & hopefully fun forum.

Red face The good, the bad and the ugly!

Subscriber here too...I have every issue, except the first...d'oh!

I will have the honour of appearing in the mag shortly too, after doing a "Help me buy a...." article with Peter recently.

Unfortunately, since then I appear to have busted up my much-loved 55-250mm IS lens, so might have to rethink my purchasing plans in the near future.

Cheers, Keri.

Hi Chris just opened your tutorial and sorry it's not worth wasting 5mb of my computor space Why are you showing micro size illustrations ? What a complete waste of time that was, it's impossible to read anything, I cannot believe you didn't notice this!!! Why not use Quicktime for Mac and something similar for Windows?
There is also the question of the quality of the videos, I bet if I sent you an image of this quality, you would bin it pretty darn sharp? well the same goes for us, bin them and start again.
