He's a boy, 6lb 12.5oz, and 11 days early. We finally got to come home with him today, which also made me smile

Seeing someone who is slightly madder than I am - a woman out jogging in only a thin pair of shorts, no leggings and only a thin long-sleeved vest, in the snow (the temp was about -2C). She did concede slightly to the cold and wore a woollen hat. 'Committed' springs to mind (double meaning intended).

Regards
Denise

Yesterday, at a small Christmas do, a guest dominated the conversation on one side of the room. Whatever the subject, he had been there, done it and knew better! A real (Karl Friedrich Hieronymus Freiherr) von Münchhausen; his experience ranged from deep sea fishing, living in Alaska, hacking and secutiry software for pc's, San Francisco, Argentina, Hawaii, car mechanics, ship's hulls, pitching and rolling (of ships) and seasickness, watches etc. You get my drift; he must have been about a hundred and ten at the very least! I could see my husband was getting quite annoyed, but I found it hilarious. I kept 'feeding' him and I'm still grinning broadly today whenever I remember yet another one of his tales.
