I've always been glad of the articulated screen (which are very good) on my Olympus Dslr's, especially the last few years.

For this image of a leaf on a woodland path, I just had to put the camera on the ground and look down at the screen.

With out it then it would have been a full lay down on your stomach job, and then at my age and with my dodgy knees it would be debatable if i would have been able to get up again!
