Cool Nikon D800 User Guide Release Date

According to a French online bookseller www.decitre.fr, a new 320 page hardback book entitled "Obtenez le maximum du Nikon D800" (Get the most out of your Nikon D800) byJean-Baptiste Guges, is set for release on the 4th May 2011.

From the description the sensor has apparently been increased in size from the D700's12mp to 24mp!

Can't wait for this badboy to finally be unveiled!

In early October, the book was scheduled for March publication. Maybe the publishers now have a date for the camera's release?

Thanks for the link Angela. I must have missed that article last month. It looks like the date is the same now on both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.fr as on decitre.fr - 4th May.

Chris, it would make sense that the publishers know something that we don't, so would give some indication of the D800 release date being around that time. We can but hope!
