Finding Member's Galleries

If anyone figures out how to find someone's gallery using the search facility (without having to wait for them to post a new shot) then please let me know

In the search box above your profile pic, enter my name bsmith , when my avatar comes up click the name under my avatar. I just tried it.

Darn! it works for my name but no one elses

Edit, Ok go to the Users photos page and copy a name that has posted an image. Now past that name into the search box, drop down the refine my search option and select users, click the name when it appears.

So it looks like if you know the exact user name it should work.

Bob

Strange, I wonder if its because I've had images up for a while, and since the site has gone live it may be a database update thing, I'd try again tomorrow :-)

Thanks Bob, if I figure it out I'll let you know, but it's a real pain trying to find anyone.

John, as above I can now see your gallery, by clicking your username and selecting "view your public profile" I see the link "view the photo page of JohnFanning" it takes me to your gallery

Thanks again Bob, but that still means we have to rely on finding a member somewhere in the forums or elsewhere. I feel the 'Search for..." facility is just not functioning correctly in order that I can find members who are not active in the forums et cetera..........
What I've actually started to do is find people in the "New Photo's" section and then add them using the 'bookmark' facility on my MAC ( 'Favourites' on a PC). Still a pain though

Also, as you can see below, I've added a link to my PhotoRadar Gallery, which will help others locate me but not me them, if that makes any sense!

Bob, I've also just tried a 'copy & paste' on my own name and still nothing found.
