Nothing wrong with that, we're going along this weekend to try and catch the current exhibition before it closes, I shall try and get to yours the week after it opens too and maybe take some friends down over Christmas.

Once again, good luck Andy !

That's it, pics printed, framed, captioned and hung - now all I need are some visitors !

Thanks Ian, be keen to know what you think - and no need to be polite

Cheers
Andy (the nervous exhibitor)

We went this afternoon Andy, it was bedlam, some sort of Christmas event on for the little ones and there were hundreds of them so we only stayed 20 minutes but we looked at each of your perfectly framed images.

FANTASTIC sir ! Good effort. I so often hear people saying there's nothing to photograph around here but good on you ( and your poor suffering wife ) for getting up at the crack of dawn to capture those images. I've been to a lot of the locations you've used but not as early as you have and for that reason I've never managed to get the cracking photo's you have which has made your exhibition, and it's all on our doorstep for the taking which clearly you've made the most of !

Ian, you're making me blush

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated. I was up there on Saturday afternoon about 3pm - there were a few sales Friday and Saturday morning so I was filling gaps! It was quite nice to walk in and see people looking at every print - quite a crowd. That could be because it was very cold outside and the centre is warm but... It's been really nice getting feedback from visitors and staff there - people quickly worked out I was the photographer (I guess the unwrapping and hanging prints was a bit of a giveaway!) - quite a few conversations going on with some nice compliments. I'm glad I made the effort with the framing etc as I think they look nice - and so do others which is good. It's nice to sell some but it's also nice to hear what people were saying - even those who didnt know they were talking to the tog! I was hoping to get up yesterday too and would have been there the same time as you - our 2-yr old was 'overtired' shall we say Shame as it would have been good to meet you - one day!

And I know what you mean about the Christmas event - I was there last Sunday when they had one on - bedlam would be the appropriate word!!

Just had another phone call from them - need to do some more printing and framing

Cheers mate
Andy

Making you blush... Creidt where it's due fella, every single one of those is on my door step and I could have gone and taken it if I had been bothered, but I didn't and that was my point, you bothered to get up at the crack of dawn and make the effort to capture that sunrise and it's reflected in the quality of your prints.

Beautiful images. I suggest anyone in the area over the next few weeks while it's still on goes to take a look.

hhmmmm I've read that back and I think it could come across as rude as if anyone could take your photo's, that wasn't what I meant, it was the commitment you made to take them that I didn't, laying in bed on a sunday morning won't get me a good photo will it !

Thanks a lot Ian, kind words indeed. And don't worry, none of it came across as rude - far from it, couldn't have been more complimentary

I still love looking at the prints - it's nice to see images on screen but they take on a different look when printed. I made the decision that if I was going to do it, I'd do it properly - natural wood frames, PermaJet Oyster 271 paper, ICC profile, Maximum dpi printing etc - cost a fair bit to print and frame but worth it I think in the end. Just getting nice comments from yourself and others at Moors Valley has given me a boost - cant wait for Santa to bring the body upgrade (camera that is, not mine ).

Thanks again matey.
Andy
