Time Delay when Uploading and viewing photo's?

Hi,
Is there a time delay between uploading an image, and then viewing it using the +symbol on the member photo's page?

I've uploaded an image, which displays itself nicely in the albums view, but disappears to a white screen when I try to look at it full size

I've not heard of this happening before.

I've just looked at all your photos, and they're all opening full-size for me, are you still having this problem? And yes, can you tell me which picture specifically so we can investigate for you?

Thanks for the prompt reply.
It is the Lowry Centre Bridge in album - General.

The page opens but It just shows a white are where the image should be....

No problem, as I say it works fine for me, so to help us try to track down the problem, can you tell me the following:

1. What web browser are you using?
2. What operating system are you using?
3. Do you have a pop-up blocker or adblocker installed?

Hi Amy,
I'm using Firefox (also tried IE8), however it is now working for me too (?), so no idea what was causing it, sorry.

I'm going to upload another shortly so I will let you know if I get a similar effect.

Hi Amy,
Yep, it's happening again.
Just uploaded Blackpool Pier, and it will not show when selecting the +symbol. Been about 5 minutes so will try again later (using IE8) and will get back to you.

Working now, seems about a 30 minute delay between uploading and viewng full size.

The delay is not a problem for me, just that I thought it was broken completely.

Have you tried clearing the cache (temporary files, cookies and history) on your browsers?
