Agree on the rechjargeables. Redently 7dayshop did a good deal on eneloops plus the charger, keep your eyes peeled for bargains. I also recommend buying a cheap battery tester as I often lose track of which are charged and which aren't. Disorganised!

Well, I've got my entry in. Not my original idea but I got dragged down to the coast today.

Well I can't think which image you were referring to but I really like the comment for some strange reason

Beautiful day here today, but spent it in various shopping malls - images of bollards disappearing into the distance didn't cut it for me, so I've gone for something a bit more figurative:

Mars and Venus

I’m only in with a make up the numbers this weekend, I thought I was going to have loads of time but one thing leads to another and it’s suddenly late Sunday afternoon.

Whenever I take a photo looking up at the sky I’m always reminded of the quote by Oscar Wilde - We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars

On that philosophical note I’m off to put Sunday tea on.

PS – there are some great shots already.

I've not been on this forum long and I only previously saw last weeks comp so am not sure if I've done the right thing with this but we live & learn eh ! This is my first entry and I hope I can do this every week ?

So here it is...

I was trying to fake perspective but laying on a cold wet drive for a few minutes while the rain stopped wasn't really enough time. I think I needed my car further away than I could get it, car park would have been better perhaps ? I think you'll all understand what I was trying to do.

Image details ( do I need to post this ? ) Kodak 650Z
Exposure - Manual
Shutter - 1/40
Aperture - f3.2
ISO - 100
No Flash

Opened in Photoshop.
Rotated canvas.
Cropped.
Resaved at 72dpi for web.

Some great entries once again this weekend. I have been working all weekend so I decided my warehouse would have to be the scene for this weekends entry. So a low perspective view down one of my racking aisles. I think it would have worked better with my wide angle lens but I forgot to put in my bag this morning
