It didn't stop raining all evening and I had to trudge through mud as well to get these shots. All these were handheld.

Yay - thank you. I haven't taken mine off the memory card yet (not sure I have the time). Mine were just some sparkler fun in my yard. Will try to get them on here before I fly off on my holidays tomorrow.

I had partial success

Here are six that I took last night. It is my first time photographing fireworks but managed to get some ok shots. It was cold, windy and threatened to rain but luckily it didn't until we got home. It was so windy in fact that the combined smoke from the monstrous bonfire and brilliant fireworks display caused the sky to become quite hazy. Lewes Bonfire is extremely busy with tens and tens of thousand of people throughout the town and the six different bonfire sites. Madness and mayhem but quite a good evening.

Aw wow some lovely shots. Im In Tenerife right now, but will try to get my pics on here soon.They are basic but it's a start.

No bonfire, but a special treat of a night time taxy run of a Lancaster bomber followed by fireworks.
