Muffin Top (split from 7day shop bag thread)

OT, but every time I see "muffin top" I laugh. In case it is not the same in the UK, a muffin top here referrers to obviously the top portion of a muffin and the rolls of well, fat, over the top of one's pants (usually tight fitting). This is usually applied to girls/woman who should not be wearing such tight pants.

It is surprising how many women these days wear inappropriate clothing. How someone who is probably not short of twenty stone in weight can think they look good in a mini skirt or one of those tank-tops that show most of their midrift is beyond me. I can only shake my head in despair.

Others shake their fists and shout "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!"

Maybe the urban dictionary should release a profanity checker for these companies to check their marketing material against.

Seriously though whilst the bag may be cheap does it carry the gear you need, does it add sufficient protection to your gear and is it comfortable.

Like others I have bought many bags but am now happy with a Kata shoulder bag for carrying small amounts of gear and a Lowpro rucksack for larger load. Now I have spent the money I don't regret it at all.

Talking about words and different usages to be aware of, when I lived in Canada back in the late 1960's us Brits certainly had to be careful when using simple seemingly non offensive words like "Homely" for instance. If you referred to a chap being a very homely person it had nothing to do with his love of everything to do with his home life. That would be a homey person. The other one was more to do with the persons sexual orientation.
