Lensbaby

Hi -
Anyone got any experience of using the lensbaby system?. I have been looking at the lensbaby composer and fancy getting the pinhole and plastic optics to go with it. I want to try some different techniques and came across them. I know they won't be as good as proper lenses but if they produce some nice effects it doesnt matter so much.

I borrowed a lensbaby composer to play with and found it all a bit odd really. This later version is much easier to use and alter the angle of the shot but it was fiddly having to drop in the different aperture discs and I ended up shooting pretty much with the same one wide open. I found it hard to select the best subjects - flowers were good.
In the end I decided I could do the effect in software and it was not worth the money but others found them fun.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I was wondering if the effects could be easily reproduced in PS instead. I think I might leave it for now, just wanted to hear from someone who had used it. And its not cheap either so would hate to buy it, be dissapointed and then end up selling it on ebay.
