Thumbs up What Made You Feel Good Today

Hey gang thought I would give this thread a rebirth (for those that don't know it used to be on the old DCMG site) So post anything that made you feel good today it doesn't have to be camera/photography related just anything that maybe cheered you up, bought a smile to your face or just made you feel good....(we also had a what annoyed you today, a Grumpy Old Gits thread and a what made you smile today thread) something tells me they might be reborn as well particularly if OLDBOY and Mr Abercrombie Sir (doffs cap tugs forelock) have anything to do with it

So WMMFGT was the "Book Club" man turned up at work today, dunno if you get these, the people that leave books at your place of work and sell them for anything up to about 1/4 of their original price......well I got me a copy of Tom Ang's Digital Photography Masterclass, cover price is a a whole £20.00 I got it for the bargain price of £6.00 whole Earth pounds so I am well chuffed,:-) started reading it on the bus, it's full of hints and tips and advice that both beginners and rank amateurs (like me) and even those more advanced looking maybe for inspiration can relate to, very impressed and for the price of a packet of fags (if I still smoked that is)

Thumbs up Freedom

Realising I've finished decorating the lounge and I still have a whole week of freedom before the wife comes back from her holiday

I suspect the admins won't want that thread here yet, for fear of it filling up with "bug reports".

We've already been 'advised' there'll be no "We hate photoradar" threads.

I'm sure the powers-that-be over there could get this resolved. Who knows, it might even be resolved within a years time.

Interested to know how you like it there, Martin. I think it might make a good venue for a group day out, maybe in the Autumn. What do you think?

Not having to go into work tomorrow and having spent a couple of hours above Largs with my 18 - 200mm OS lens.

Having said that the picture below in no way represents the resolution that it was taken on?
