2million for a lens that could dio so much good elsewhere! They said it was for a prince, wonder if he uploaded the shots anywhere?

Yeah I think it was custom built for one of the Saudi princes. Its probably sat in a palace room somewhere, unused, along with tons of other play things lol.

Nikon did a 1200-1700mm F5.6-8 zoom lens, and if you needed to know the price you couldn't afford it.

If I could only have one lens it would be the Canon 16-35L II. I would make do with the 17-40L if that's all that was on offer. Both lenses would keep me and my FF body happy for a long while.

I would like a Canon f4.0 500mm but don't have 5K lying around . . .

lol - do they advertise for photographers? I'd be the least secret person you could ever imagine! The canon 500 is lovely, I also like the 300mm and the 800m but need to win the lottery first!

IMO only the Sigma 50-500mm fits the one lens scenario
