Reintroduction & advice needed please....

Hello all, I have to admit it's been a long while since I was last on these forums and have not posted anything since they were migrated over from the old site. I can see that there are still some of the same faces here which is great and a lot of new ones too which is even better!

Anyway, shamefully for me the reason I am posting is that I need some advice. I recently ordered a print of a photo I took in South Africa in 2008. I meant to order 40x30cm but erroneously ordered 40x30 inches! I could come up with loads of excuses why I made such a schoolboy error but really none do it justice!

Anyhow, I'm after any suggestions as to where might be a good place to try and sell the image.

All suggestions welcome folks....

Here is a copy of the image -

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Welcome back Matt

Have you considered try to sell it at a craft fair or similar? Or you could try a zoo?!

You could find a local gallery / shop to sell it on your behalf for a cut of the profit - 'and it's a good way to advertise if it's on view somewhere.

You may like to look at the competition, though...... Nick Brandt.

Good idea about the zoo Chris - Twycross Zoo is not far from here so may see about making contact with them to see if they would be interested.

Craft fairs I hadn't considered because I don't really know where/how many there are around my area, so will perhaps be a good opportunity to find out.

I know there are a couple of art galleries near to me so I might see if they are interested for a cut of the profit.

Thanks for your advice.

Matt
