I was going to take flash also but will leave that at home. Your shots are exactly the kind I want to get, although I am not sure the demo here will be that big. Never even considered what clothes to wear but it makes sense to be neutral etc..
Thanks again,
I feel a lot more confident about the day now

Good! Just remember to travel light. It's not the gear that will get you the shots, but being in the right place. Have fun and let us know how you get on.

Thanks, and I will. Although there is talk about it being called off now because of lack of numbers. It might be on later in the year. Seems the Wrexham people are not as easily swayed by the EDL/WDL as they originally hoped.

Thanks Swanliover, the house contents is a great idea. The demo is off for this Saturday but is coming later in the year. I did photograph the last one but it wasnt really a demo, just loads of drunk lads who turned up from Bolton with EDL flags etc.. One of the photos is here but its not a patch on Ben's work.

@Ben - all great reportage shots, however, the last one does it for me!

Thanks for the feedback, Swan lover. They never came on Saturday but something is planned for later on this year. What I would really like to do is follow one or two of them for 12mths and document their preparation for these demos and photograph their meetings etc but I am not sure if they would consent or not. Maybe a series of portraits of edl members.
