Just recieved my copy of photoplus, which i might add is a great magazine,
however, pretty dissapointed with the photoplus verdict on page 97 for the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8II.

is the negative the best you can come up with, its not contructive or very informative

" X Not f/1.4 or f/1.2 like Canon's other 50mm lenses " statin' the bleedin' obvious !

although you didn't mention that these other 50mm cost from 3 to 10 times more than the f/1.8II

please make your verdicts a bit more constructive

Good points. However the point about Your Gear is the reviews on this page are written by readers, reflecting their opinions about bits of kit they have bought.
