Nikon 200mm F2 VR

Im wanting to get this lens and thought I would see if anybody on here has used it and could tell me what they think about it.

I haven't used it, and not likely to unless the premium bonds come up. There's one review over at Warehouse Express. I should think it's a gem of a lens. Wonder what the paparazzi could get with that & a D3s?

They all love it.

Of course, Ken Rockwell has a page on it which most kindly says that he simply hasn't tried it.

It's a really expensive lens though which I don't really see the point of, unless you really need that extra stop at 200mm from the 70-200 f/2.8. Optically it's not going to be much better - it's not like the latest 70-200 is poor...
