Paintshop Pro X2 Ultimate - Advanced Creator Information

Firstly Hi I am new to PhotoRadar and to the forums.

I need help to get my head around the Advanced Creator Information function in Paintshop Pro X2 Ultimate. I hope to start submitting content to a stock library later this month and I am in the process of getting my images ready. The stock library have asked that all images contain IPTC data. After reading around I can do this using the Advanced Creator Information in paint shop pro. However I am not quite sure what information to enter in the following fields: City, Provence/state, country, credit, source, headline, description writer, instructions, transmission, reference.

Also do I need to complete the creator information fields: image title, artist name, copyright, description. (What do I put in the description? is it meta tags like butterfly, blue. etc etc).

Apologies if these are stupid questions, still I have to learn.

Hi JCurtis - welcome to the forum

To be honest, it's difficult to say. I would suggest that you contact the stock agency and ask what specific IPTC data they want. It seems daft to fill in loads of unecessary rubbish!

The only IPTC data Stock Agency's are concerned about are Caption (Description) and Keywords.

The other field like state city etc are not used by stock agency's and you are are better using keyword for locations.

I'd also fill creator details in so there is a record of who the image belongs to in the file itself

If you are using jpegs just be sure that PSP does not resave the files do add infomation, proper dam programs do not but some editors do.
