Hiya folks. New guy here. Wasn't quite sure where to put this though.
I'm a keen Amateur based in Birmingham. I've only had a DSLR for about 18 months (500D at the moment, recently upgraded from a 400D), and am most definitely still learning (i'll be doing that for the next 30 years or so, right?).

I work full time on the railways, so no surprises that trains make up a lot of my subject matter, along with cars and people. Im just in the process of building my own site at www.daveredbourne.co.uk so feel free to have a mooch, let me know what you think. Some are far better than others, and im fully expecting a few of them to get ripped to pieces

This looks a useful site anyway...will stick around.

Welcome noors32 and Dave, Yes l have found a wealth of knowledge on this forum and it has improved my photography skills alot. Why not try the weekend photo competition! it makes you take pictures of things that you never would have, and therefore it allows you to try to capture whats in your mind, and then you have to have the camera skills to do it
