HI muffy

It has nothing to do with your membership status. What method are you using?

This thread explains how...

You could just click the yellow icon that looks like it has a mountain and the Sun on it. This will prompt for the image URL. It's the 6th icon from the left on the quick reply box, or on the fully reply box it's third from the right on the main icon bar (that starts with B, I, U). So long as your image URL is correct this will format and post the correct code for you.

Alan,

Its not working for you because, as far as I can see, you're not putting the image address in, you're copying in the page address. When you go to flickr, right click on the image, select properties and copy the image address which will end in .jpg
Then stick that in the IMG tags...

After all this time members are still haveing trouble posting images onto this site? Every other site on the internet doesn't have this problem only on here! Perhaps that's why not many images are posted.

Ok so I click on the mountain icon but the only option is to insert a URL address - can I not just pick a photo from my hard drive and insert that?

No, you can't post directly off your computer. You need to upload your photos to the web somewhere first. You can use your Photoradar gallery (click on the "upload a photo" link in the top right) or you can use one of the multitude of sharing sites like Flickr (which is free for the first 200 shots).
