resizing a photo file

Is it at all possible to take a jpeg/raw file and turn it into a '.jpg' file of about 30mb in size?

I read this on alamy (regarding files that they accept):

Uncompressed file sizes of more than 24MB. This means you should make your JPEG file from an 8 bit TIFF file that is at least 24MB.

however it makes very little sense to me??

it don't make much sense to me either

if a tiff ( uncompressed ) is 24mb the the compressed JPG is going to be less than 10mb at best

so unless the mean a jpeg when uncompressed has to be above 24mb i'm at a loss

right, i've read it over and think that its just me being a pleb. It means when the jpeg is uncompressed it should be more than 24mb, i.e. if i open a jpeg and save it as a tiff, it should be greater than 24mb. so a jpeg of about 5mb is fine. I just read it wrong.

thanks for helping me clarify that!
