"Keep me logged in" option

It's a bit annoying (mildly) to have to login again every time i visit the site. It'd be nice if it remembered login details and prevented me having to do so like most other sites I use.

(Aside from anything else, means I spend more time on the site rather than trying to remember which password I used for this one! )

Hi number13,

This is something we're looking into for the future.

Thanks for your feedback.

Best wishes,

Amy

It`s annoying the hell out of me, that`s for sure.

How is it not in place already? It`s one of a forum's most basic features?

Martin, there are a lot of basic features missing from this forum. We were told that the main problems would be fixed before go live but that didn't happen. In the absence of an alternative explanation from the team I assume that they decided it would take too long to launch if they waited till everything was fixed so decided to launch and work on things as they went along. Alternatively of course, we might have different views about what is important.

The funny thing is sometimes when I come onto the site it says I'm not logged in but on the forum page, where it lists all user names who are logged in, my name is there.
