Wedding Lens/es

Hi,

I just want to get an idea what lens/es people use to shoot weddings, do people prefer a superzoom say from 18-200mm,or 2(or more) lenses and change during the day, or 2 body's, or is your setup completley different?

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

I've been asked to shoot a wedding too and been wondering what I will need. So far, I've been told to either use a 50mm prime lens for the posed portraits and have a 70-300mm or 50 - 200mm lens attached to a second camera body for capturing the close-ups on things like the signing of the wedding licence.

A flashgun for fill-in flash would also be useful and possibly a soft focus filter too. A tripod or monopod could come in handy too.
