SD Memory Cards

Hi All

Does anyone know where (and if) I can get an SD Memory Card that is more than 2GB? My Samsung doesn't like the SDHC cards but I can't find a large card on the "old" (SD) format.

Any ideas?

I'm fairly sure that the 'HC' version means high capacity (over 2Gbytes - its the way they're formatted), so I think the answer is you can't.

Paul is correct, SD card are limited to 2gb this is why SDHC cards were brought out.

Ah the joys of having an older camera........I can only get 91 RAW files or 200 and something 6mp files on a 2GB - pain in the wotsit!

Before I go out and buy lots of SD cards - does anyone have any helpful tips on how I can get round this / what they do with an older camera? (apart from upgrading to a new one!!! LOL)

You could check the Samsung website for any updates to your cameras model's software, which could increase the number of files stored on a 2gb SD card. Otherwise, you are stuck with carring extra 2gb cards. I still use 2gb compact flash cards in my D3 as well as 4gb and 8gb cards.

Really? Thats not a lot at all. I can get around 140 RAW files on a 2GB card on my 12MP D90. Have you put the empty card in a PC and checked the capacity?
