I hope the len is OK Mike.
It's been warm all day and everything has been hiding in the shade, or on the other side of the bush; so I'm sticking with the old hen

Well I'm in too, finally. With a head full of intentions for going out today to all those natury places, I'm in with an image I took on Friday evening while watching some Woodpigeons chasing each other round the roof tops. I think they were after the same thing as Cutter's coots!

No jurisdiction for Air Traffic Control for these guys!

Cheers, Sie

P.S. Poll won't be up till about tea time so for this week only you have till then to post images.

P.P.S Can anyone tell me how to do the poll? !!!! I've never done one.

This is a link to a document on how to set the poll - here
Ignore the bit about being able to change the title later, you cannot - unless somebody knows better.

There are some cracking entries this week, it's going to be really hard to choose just one

Update on the lens - I put it on the camera last night and it seems to be functioning properly but I haven't had chance to check the photos yet to make sure the focus is correct etc etc.

This is a photo taken after the lens incident, so it looks like it's all ok (well except my ability to get the correct focus )

Glad all iis well with the lens Mike.

A flying beetle just danced over the back of my hand displaying its array of folding wings, while I was enjoying a drink in the sun. Why are they always around when you have not got the camera to hand!
