Wireless Remote Flash Trigger

Hi all, some advice please.

Im in the market to get a wireless remote flash trigger, the sort that has a trigger device that sits on the camera which trips flash guns.

I have a Speedlight 580 EX II. I currently only have one flashgun, but will be getting a 430 EX II to support my set up ideas so will need to be able to trigger both!

Hopefully one that will allow me to work with E-TTL. I am going to be doing some portfolio shots and have some ideas which require a wireless trigger which works on radio waves as i probably wont be in line with flash gun. Im talking probably about 25 metres away from flash gun.

I will eventually get some lights to help in this situation, but need to make do with what i have for now.

i have been looking at Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter, but its a bit expensive at the moment for me, so a cheaper just as reliable set up would be perfect for now!

Does anyone use one of these (canon or non canon) and any advice on what i should get?

your help greatly appreciated!

p.s - if you need more info please ask and ill try to provide!

Thanks

5 min test!

Change the batteries that come with the main unit that sits on camera! lasted two shots!

First impressions: not bad, works as it should but not ETTL, must be used in manual unless im doing something wrong. But not an issue as i dont mind using it in manual. So far have only used indoors and tested at 20metres and works fine. 4 channel option with on/off switches on each off the receivers (you get 3 receivers)

Equipment: Canon 400d and 1 x 580exii

Hopefully will give it a go this weekend outdoors and let you know more!

Sounds just what I want at that price , the pocket wizards are a bit too pricey for me at the moment. Let me know how your further tests go on . CHEEEEEEERS
