Why i can't Update my profile,avatar, etc ?

Why I can't change/edit my profile ? and i can't upload my avatar? Can someone help me about this.?? thanks before

I need a bit more info from you,

What browser and operating system are you using?

What exactly happens when you click "change my account settings" in the top right?

Dear Amy,

After I click "change my account setting" , i filled "about me" in edit profile and i tried to upload my new avatar i submitted but then there was a hint "E-mail address field is required." then i filled the email address and submitted it, and there was another hint again that said the email address is already registered, have you forgotten your password?

My browser - Internet Explorer, operating system windows xp
