It's raining here too, but hopefully I will be able to find something (although the back support limits my movement a bit for stuff at gound level or awkward angles) - And I guess regards the brief, the voting will be on 'fitting the brief' as interpreted by the viewer as usual.

Being more than 2 days late to this version of the challenge I shan't enter this weekend as I now feel at a substantial disadvantage.

And it's raining
Yes hinfrance, I think I agree with you, if my picture was me doing something on holiday then we can go out and take any shots. I will withdraw my entry, I was concerened it did not meet the brief and you confirmed it . no ill feelings, I know what you mean, so I will try to get another entry in if poss.

Crumbs, this one's difficult.
We're not doing anything really. I was out all morning taking photos in town, and I have a shoot tomorrow afternoon. Other than that, nothing's happening. My Easter is just the same as any weekend - 50% photography and 50% lazing around.

I know what you mean Howard, I guess those with small children who still believe in the Easter Bunny may have more success.

Actually we did have a dog transport arrive from Romania, but that was Thursday. And I'll be taking pics of the dogs in the shelter her on Monday. So both out of the time range. But that's something I do regularly, would that really have counted ?

Oh dear ....

Mark, I didn't mean any offence to anyone - I just felt that I'd got the wrong of the stick and was having a bit of a sulk about it tbh. I'd sort of been planning something somewhat more specific.

So if you're game, then so am I, I'll put the plan into action.

Ill leave mine in as surfing is a major part of my life and most days I get down the beach.Three heart attacks and CPOD are stopping me from being in the water at the moment but I am our local beach representative for Surfrider Foundation and when the waves are good Im there with my camera. When their not good Im still there at some time during the day.I can watch surfing from my balcony and often photograph my son and soon my daughter.
Just wanted to clarify!Thanks

I meant I'll put an entry in based upon what I'm doing this weekend. Although what with all the rain it's not going to be very exciting, trust me.

The theme is "I want a photo to demonstrate what activity you are doing." Salty, I understand what you are saying, but in my book watching something is not an activity.

It is, of course, ultimately up to the voters to decide what meets or does not meet the theme. In my experience, however, that tends to get ignored big time if there is an entry with a huge wow! factor, like yours, for example

I guess what you mean Hinfrance is that Old salty should have taken a pictue of someone watching the surfer and that would have met the theme criteria !!!!

Just caught up on the thread, sorry for causing confusion. I know it's a little late but to clarify, if you are out walking I was thinking that we'd see a photo of your walking boots or if you are gardening then maybe a spade or fork, I hope that makes sense.

I haven't broken the weekly comp have I??
