Jessops 360 shoe problem

Hi

I've just bought a 2nd hand Jessops 360 flash gun for my canon 350D. The shoe doesn't fit quite snuggly enough. It works fine if I push it into place but when I tighten the screw it looses contact and the TTL light goes out.

Any ideas? Has this happen to you. It seems my only option is to 'wedge' it in some way.

Thank you for any help.

Steve

fully rerease the shoe by turning anticlockwise

mount on camera and tighten in a clockwise direction
