Percy Veering.

I am still trying to like the site and have been for a few days now.

I appreciate adverts pay the wages but they would be more acceptable if they were centric around photography, not sure about the one for pills that increase the size of ones knob or the Green Day tickets competition are relevant. however I guess revenue is revenue.

I might be me but trying to view a picture on the "user photo" section is proving to be a chore and all I get is more lists, I will however stick it out for a while longer.

The techniques section is useful, although some of the links seem dead.

Still feel the pages are cluttered and not intuative enough,
lets hope the final version is cleaner.

Phil.

Thank you Percy for your comments, but I am not sure where you will have seen the adverts you describe? The adverts at the moment are for a Canon, I think you'll agree that's pretty photography centric!

As for the user photo lists, this is something we are currently working on.

Thanks for the feedback,

Amy

Hi Amy

You must think I am barmy ..

Seriously, I have adverts for Vimax Penis enlargement herbal thingies all over your website and not just on on the homepage. In addition an advert for a competition to win 2 Greeenday concert tickets.

They occupy a consderable amount of the page, hence my comments, with not a Canon advert on site or in sight.

Looks to me like I have been hijacked, despite numerous adware tools and scanners I have installed, so apologies to you and Photoradar its clearly nothing to do with you.

Looks like I am going to be busy for sometime trying to find the problem

Regards

Phil.

Phil, what browser are you using? I know some peeps over at DCM had the same problem with those adds. Think they were using Chrome.

Glad you thought it was funny, I didnt the wife was waving a ruler at me ???

I am using IE 6.

It looks to be sorted now, I scanned with a trojan remover and it seems to have got rid of whatever it was, I now have a Canon advert as the banner and the advert for "my favourite magazine" on the right.

The gremlin was also re-directing Google to another dodgy looking search engine.

All the knobs have now gone as well

Thanks Phil.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for letting me know... that would have been very worrying!

(Quite comical though I suppose...)
