My you've got a sweet tooth jinky.

Anyway, this is not perfect by a long chalk, but I did have fun trying to get it at least acceptable.

A Flash In The Pan:

Although it has many good qualities, alas the Metz will not work as a dumb optical slave, so I had to use a radio trigger to fire it manually on 1/32 power. Also I completely failed to get the white balance right, but hey ho

Question, is the bark of a tree mundane enough for you?

Wink Dead Tree at Sunset

I had dropped my daughter home on Thursday evening when I spotted this sunset happening and the location is normally just a dried up piece of salt exposed coastline that most people would not give a second glance. The jet stream was an added bonus but quite common along here with airforce planes from the Williamtown base on training exercises.
Mundane by day gorgeous by sunset!!
Big day here in Lake Cathie with the Australian Ironman event. Ist place to a New Caledonia competitor and second to Great Britain!

Well I'm not sure how well this fits in with this week's theme, but here is my entry "Barking up the wrong tree?" The texture of the bark on our eucalyptus tree is a source of great interest when you take a good close look at it.
