Is DC Mag no longer trading?

A few weeks ago I complete a subscription offer online for DC Mag that appeared in the printed issue.
There were no emails subsequently and no magazines or free gift sent (Arctic Butterfly).

I found an email address online for subscriptions and emailed them a message which promptly came back to me as undelivered.

I then emailed the editor, Geoff Harris, no response.
Checking back with the magazine I discovered that the click through link for the original subscription email went to a .com address when it should have went to a .co.uk, thereby showing a mistake on the web page.
I then emailed the correct subscription email address as written in the magazine as there was no response from Geoff Harris after 4 days.

I got back an automated email saying my query would be looked into.
That's been a further 4 days and no response yet.

Poor service aside, is the magazine in financial difficulty or already closed?

Hi there
Apologies that this slipped through the net. I can 100% give you my guarantee that Digital Camera Magazine is still trading; indeed we are about to go into a major redesign! The magazine is still being published 13 times a year.

Please can anyone who emailed me before email me again, and I will look into these subscription problems as a priority. Please send to geoff.harris@futurenet.co.uk with your full details

Apologies again for the lack of an earlier reply

Rgds

Oh Dear! Another major redesign? Lets hope it's better than the one that resulted in this forum!
Yours extremely cynically

Yeah, that would be the redesign that moved us from being the fifth biggest photography mag in the UK to the third. And gave us 13 overseas licenses.

Sorry, that's not my definition of a bad redesign, but let's let the readers be the judge

It happened to me the same.
Instead I noticed that there is another link DC Mag in Flickr.
Not sure if it is the same:

Ouch! did I touch a nerve? Were you referring to a design for the magazine or to my reference to the site design? If the magazine redesign has taken you from 5th to 3rd place one wonders why you are about to do it again? If it 'aint broke don't fix it!

To me the most recent copy of Digital camera is looking too much like Photoplus, though I have to say I don't read the later as it is too focused on Canon, but I have seen it in morrisons when I go to get the paper, or to for the weekly shop. It always has a someone looking happy with a camera on the front, which I like. Anyway, with the magazines looking the same, maybe it is time for a redesign, as Geoff says. And if this one goes from 3 to 1 all the better!

Strange how we all see things so differently from one another . I subscribe to both mags and really enjoy PhotoPlus whereas I get bored stiff seeing swirling water and oversaturated shots in Digital Camera. In fact it has reached the point where I have ended the subcription this month.
Perhaps being more of a novice I enjoy the practical side of taking and processing shots and although not a Canon user get more out of Photoplus as it doesn't have to compete with other mags in the seemingly endless comparisons between Nikon v Canon v Sony v .....Yawn!
Anyway, my apologies to Geoff if he took offence, none was intended. I really enjoyed the old forum with rapid replies and apparently large numbers of participants. All I was trying to say was redesigning things doesn't necessarily make them better.
Keep up the good work
