i think that you'd have been better advised ti introduce yourself before posting this. It doesn't appeal to me, I'm afraid. Gil will be along in due time, I'm sure...

Correct - but Gil is sick and tired of complaining about these cheap free adverts that Photoradar keep allowing to be posted - anyway not many view this site anymore - despite Admin's claims to the contrary - so what does it matter - just more "oriental spam" to be ignored - is my advice.

That is not true Gil, many people love this site and use that site, how do you know many people not view the site. where do you bring all that information? That is not your business what people post here that is up to the admin of the fourms and don't hurt people's feeling.

That is not cheap adverts, he ask for advise and opinion.

Oh yes it is TRUE - it is unsolicitated advertising - despite your inept protestations to the contrary.

I agree it is up to the owners of this site (Admin) to say what can and cannot be posted on the forums - I fully appreciate that bonafide paid for adverts are indeed essential for this site to remain free and available to ALL its members - but it clearly states in the term and conditions that no adverts should be placed in the forum posts - and the original post - was clearly an advert - despite the originator's attempts to give the impression of seeking opinions or advice (not advise - by the way) - the posts YOU have placed here are of the same type - BLATENT UNSOLICITATED ADVERTISING - "spam" as it is commonly know as.

So spare me - and other members - your indignation and "woe is me" bleatings.

Your fellow "spammers" don't post images in the galleries neither do YOU nor they enter into any constructive dialogue in the forums - so I hope the Admin see these postings for what they are - and eventually come to the same conclusion that I and other genuine members of this site have come to - and that is - such "spam" postings should be monitored better - and removed if deemed necessary - so they are not allowed to proliferate in the forums.

And just when I thinking that it couldn't get any better.

One final point Gil - not all posters are from the UK and English is perhaps their second language. You might like to take that into account when advising others of the error of their ways. Remember the biblical phrase - 'let he who is without sin' etc and read again line 7 of your post. :-)

As to the issue at hand - I don't really see a difference between the OP drawing attention to his/her work any more than you are by posting links to your photo galleries irrespective of whether or not they are in some way associated with PhotoRadar.

Wink Another with Engish as a 2nd language.

Hva en last av ekskrementer.

A few points in reply:

1. Being the consummate amateur photographer - I do not peddle my images - and therefore have no need to advertise - unlike some.

2. Being an agnostic - I have little knowledge of your inept satirical biblical quotation.

3 Being of Norwegian origin - based mainly in Scotland - my second language too is English.

4. Being totally disinterested in continuing with this argument and thereby give credence to this BLATENT ADVERTISING THREAD - JEG budet du alle farvel. For i mellomtiden.

Hilsen til alle fra Oslo

First of all Gill you dont have picture in your gallery as much as I do and second of all I don't have link under my Signature to Photo Answer website like you do so basically you are advertising for other photo website and you call us spammer? I will again remind you Gil This is " General Chat" off-topic discussion" section. End of my conversation with you Gil.

Ya check his Signature on his profile and see where his link end up.
