The raw codec for viewing thumbnails in Explorer do not work with 64 bit Vista or Windows 7 this was true for my 40D and 7D, I am pretty sure it worked okay with Vista 32 bit on my Laptop though.

Thanks for the thought, I am waiting for Canon to contact me, I was wondering about taking the camera back and then waiting a while as i do not seem to be getting any where.
